This journey of discovery has led him to lead the industry in the huge resurgence of Lovingly Hand Tinted Black & White Portraiture. Hand tinting with transparent oil paints was originally used in the late 1800's to provide "color" portraits. Once the only way to create a color photograph of any kind. In the years past, portrait artists would take a black and white photograph, and painstakingly add color to the Photograph.
Now this method allows Jeffrey to add just the right touch of color, to enhance and compliment the emotion of each image, creating a truly one of a kind work of art. Many of these images have won awards when shown at numerous galleries and collections throughout the world.
