Why do people join galleries, museums and artist institutions? Simple explanation: because they are True Patrons of the Arts, Philanthropists and persons of good will. As the artist Jeffrey Blake Adams is fond of saying: "money is nice, but friends are nicer." Friends who are members bring much more than an monthly or annual donation, no matter how generous; friends who are members prove that our Museum has a following, that it consistently puts on exhibitions and hosts events of importance to its regional constituency. While it is true that the Museum certainly has enough projects to spend every dollar that is donated, what our Museum really treasures is the moral support of a membership. Membership proves that our Museum plays a definite role in the community, and that means everything to us.

Our patrons not only help support us, they actively work with us to help bring you new and exciting art all year long, by volunteering as gallery sitters, helping with administrative efforts, mailings and newsletters and much much more. Please be sure to thank our patrons when you meet them, and patronize their places of business every chance you get, thanks to them, we are here, thriving and able to provide the shows, exhibits, art and programs of the gallery.
