"When I began shooting commercially, a fashion shoot would be done up to a year in advance, to allow time for all the touch ups, pre-press, scheduling and finals to be done in time for the print and media campaigns. As technology has progressed, I have seen that timeframe compress. For quite a while we shot about 6 months ahead, which meant we'd shoot swimsuits in winter, and fall clothes in the heat of the summer, making location shoots a crazy challenge. (Imagine a model in a full length coat in July, trying to look cool)"
